Introducing Google Analytics: Sophisticated. Easy. Free.

-Sophisticated, yet easy to use.
We believe that web analytics should be simple and sophisticated at the same time. We've designed Google Analytics to have enterprise level capabilities and yet still be accessible to anyone who wants to improve their marketing and site design. Google Analytics delivers all the features you'd expect from a high-end web analytics offering, and provides timesaving AdWords integration features.

-Integrated with AdWords.
If you have an AdWords account, you can use Google Analytics directly from the AdWords interface. Google Analytics is the only product that can automatically provide AdWords ROI metrics, without you having to import cost data or add tracking information to keywords. Of course, Google Analytics tracks all of your non-AdWords initiatives as well.

-Free.
Google Analytics gives us an opportunity to invest in our advertisers and everyone else who wants to create quality content on the web. Instead of spending money on web analytics, you can focus on creating targeted, ROI-driven marketing campaigns, and on improving your site design and content.

Golden Verse

Today my mother give us this verse to remind us:

YEREMIA 29:11 Sebab Aku ini mengetahui rancangan-rancangan apa yang ada pada-Ku mengenai kamu, demikianlah firman TUHAN, yaitu rancangan damai sejahtera dan bukan rancangan kecelakaan, untuk memberikan kepadamu hari depan yang penuh harapan.

English version:

JEREMIAH 29:11 I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for

Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 Launch!

On November 7th, 2005, .NET 2.0 (including ASP.NET 2.0), Visual Studio 2005, and SQL Server 2005 were released to the world, escaping the Beta cocoon they have resided in over the past year and change. Microsoft is rolling out their new platform and software through a Launch Event in several cities around the world. The bits have been downloadable for MSDN Subsribers for over a week now, but are now officially being rolled out and sold to customers.

For those interested in learning more about the new platform and tools without having to drop the money for Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005, and so on, Microsoft is releasing an "Express" product line that has simplified versions of Visual Studio and SQL Server targetted at C#, Visual Basic, or Web Developers. These "Express" versions are free for a year with registration and, while lacking the enterprise-level tools, they do have the basic essentials: IntelliSense and Debugging support.

2.0 was designed to work side-by-side with the 1.0 and 1.1 versions of the .NET Framework. For example, on my computer I have both Visual Studio .NET 2003 and Visual Studio 2005 installed, both SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005 Express, and SQL Server 2005 Standard installed, and both versions 1.1 and 2.0 of .NET running. For more information refer to Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0 (Beta) Compatibility.

above lines was taken from Scott Mitchell.

I hope I can get hands-on these products soon, confirmed that these tools will make our life as a developer easier than before.

Visual Studio 2005 provides a range of tools that offer many benefits for individual developers and software development teams:

-Work smarter, not harder

-Communicate more effectively within your software teams

-Learn new skills more quickly

-Grow your customer's bottom line

-Be more productive and obtain faster results

-Build dynamic Windows, Web, mobile, and Office-based solutions

-Communicate and collaborate more effectively within your software teams

-Ensure quality early and often throughout the development process

Year 2006 Fasting Plans

Next year we have some plans to save more $$$ (^o^)
First, we want to change our internet plan to another provider like Pacific Internet.
Currently they have fabulous promotions (Cable):
- 2000 kbps only at S$25.10 and
- 6500 kbps at S$58.80

We currently pay S$ 58+ for ADSL 1500kbps, still Pacific Internet's ADSL plan more cheaper at S$41.95.
I heard from one of our friend, this provider quite good in service.

Second thing... hmmm let us think first... ^^;

Ok.. second thing... we want to move our hosting provider to another place.. like http://www.godaddy.com
So who want to join and share the hosting and domain with us?

Nikon D200 is Out

D200's Viewfinder

The Nikon D200 was announced on 1st November 2005, some three and a half years since Nikon revealed their first prosumer digital SLR, the D100. It's fair to say however that the D200 is a completely different beast altogether, it shares far more with its 'bigger brother' the the D2X than its earlier namesake. The D200 has the robust build quality of the D2X, a 10.2 million pixel CCD sensor and a compact design more like the D100. Just as the D100 the D200 has a CCD sensor, unlike the D2X which utilized a CMOS sensor. It's clear that this camera is aimed at the same kind of market as the recently announced Canon EOS 5D. From a features, control and performance point of view the D200 is closer to the D2X than any other model.
